A self-portrait series inspired by my favorite “fidget toy”. Designed to help people focus by giving them an outlet to release nervous energy. Now they are more mainstream than ever, however, they still feel stigmatized. My goal in this photo series is nothing more than to bring into the spotlight and highlight my relationship with this thing. The intimate poses represent the comfort that inanimate objects can potentially provide. I use a playful aesthetic and a bit of humor to combine the essence of childhood alongside the concept that; as you get older, it's more unorthodox to own and use such items even if they still spark joy.
